Cravings Restaurant + Lounge - Vancouver, BC
This place is MY SPOT for BRUNCH. The owner Lena and the servers know my Paleo Brunch order by heart. But the lunch and dinner menus have many paleo-friendly options as well.
Fajita Chicken Salad - Mixed artisan greens, grilled chicken breast, bell peppers, red onion, fire-roasted corn, fresh-made salsa, avocado, apple cider vinaigrette.
Paleoize it: No corn, that's it! Their apple cider vinaigrette is Paleo!

Mega Sushi - Richmond, BC
Appetizer Sashimi - 2 pieces tuna & 3 pieces salmon.
Paleoize it: Do not use soy sauce, ginger (often pickled with rice vinegar), or wasabi (may contain food colouring); go nuts on the daikon (the white shredded stuff underneath; it is a East Asian radish).
Located in Steveston Village, they provide very fresh, very tasty, and very Paleo sashimi.

Full rack of baby back ribs - bbq sauce or rajin cajun dry rub, fries, and coleslaw. Yes I ate the whole rack, no I did not share with anyone.
Paleoize it: Replace fries and coleslaw with a side salad or steamed veggies; opt for the dry rub as the bbq sauce is not gluten free.

Tandoori Kona - Richmond, BC
No, Tandoori Kona does not serve their food on such lovely dinner plates. I got takeout after a long weekend of school.
Lamb Seekh Kebab - Minced lamb with onions and bell peppers in a spicy tomato and oil sauce, served with a creamy butter sauce on the side.
Paleoize it: Skip the butter sauce and opt for a chutney instead; or skip the sauce all together and add a side of mashed avocado when you get home!

Memphis Blues Barbeque House - Vancouver, BC
1/2 lb Beef Brisket
Paleoize it: Do not eat the sauce.
It makes for a good appy; I was going to attempt the Memphis Platter solo but I didn't want to embarrass the fam jam. A green salad topped with a pile of pulled pork shut pirate belly up, and I was able to walk out of there without waddling. A first for me; most of the time I crawl out when leaving a meat house.

Beetroot and Goat Cheese Salad - Organic spring mix leaves with beets, candied walnuts and creamy goat cheese dressed with maple vinaigrette.
Paleoize it: Order without goat cheese and replace the maple vinaigrette with Craving's Paleo-friendly homemade apple cider vinaigrette.
